Wedding photography South Causey Inn
2015 began with a wonderful wedding at South Causey Inn, with my first wonderful couple of the year Zoe & David.
They chose the brisk month of January to be wed and due to this we were expecting and hoping to have a little scatter of snow showers. You never quite know from one wedding to another what the weather will bring, but sadly we didnt even get a snowflake! We were however very fortunate to work with the low winter sun bringing some beautiful warm rays which streamed through the trees resulting in some lovely portraiture along the nearby railway tracks and woodlands.
Zoe runs her own cake company at zoecakecompany and produced a stunning wedding cake, complete with an array of cherry blossom detailing to compliment her oriental theme. This teamed with some lovely touches of striking red in her bouquet by Ann & Susans florist, her amazing Christy NG designer shoes, table decorations and chinese style parasol made the attention to detail second to none.
As with all brides, Zoe looked stunning in her full length Mark Lesley wedding gown. She smiled from ear to ear as she followed her bridesmaids down the aisle and giggled and cried throughout the wedding ceremony with David.
Keeping with Chinese tradition a brief tea party ceremony was held with some special family members and soon afterwards began the speeches of the day. Bridesmaid Nicola delivered a lovely speech about Zoe and of course as standard David suffered a few embarrassing moments from his best man…complete with a mankini pic!
To sum up, the day went without a hitch…it brought everything a wedding day should. LOTS of love, laughter, tears, family and friends and a genuinely wonderful couple who look like they were simply made for each other!
