Why choose me for you photography?

My name is  David,  I am an award winning destination wedding photographer who loves the fun, atmosphere and the all round celebration of weddings, I offer a unique contemporary approach photographing a wedding, I often appeal to the non-traditionalist, stylish yet contemporary couple. Based in Newcastle upon Tyne ,England, I capture weddings all across the UK, and around Europe and the World .

I’m so very passionate about my work , I find inspiration in all places and love to use any available light to by advantage and use additional light for the more creative image. I have had the pleasure of photographing in Wakefield on a few occasions, the atmosphere of Wakefield lends itself to classic wedding photography.

I take pleasure in playing an integral role in two people tying the knot but I’m a firm believer in the fact that a wedding is so much more than exchanging words and work to capture every emotion felt and each special moment, translating the true joy of the day through contemporary imagery.

Where ever you are in the world, I’d love to be part of it.. I Can’t wait to hear from you.

David -x-

A little about wedding photography at the Wakefield

Wakefield is a cathedral city in the City of Wakefield District of West Yorkshire, England, on the River Calder and the eastern edge of the Pennines, which had a population of 99,251 at the 2011 census.

The Battle of Wakefield took place in the Wars of the Roses and it was a Royalist stronghold in the Civil War. Wakefield became an important market town and centre for wool, exploiting its position on the navigable River Calder to become an inland port.

In the 18th century, Wakefield traded in corn, coal mining and textiles and in 1888 its parish church acquired cathedral status. It became the county town of the West Riding of Yorkshire and was the seat of the West Riding County Council from 1889 until 1974, when the county and council were abolished, and of the West Yorkshire Metropolitan County Council from 1974 until its dissolution in 1986.
