What kind of deposit do you require?

I ask you to pay a deposit of £300 this secures my services and your date and makes it unavailable to other couples.

What kind of equipment do you use?

I use professional Canon equipment, I carry two Canon 5D MkIII with a selection of L series lenses (some of the best lenses money can buy) I also bring lighting along in the event of bad weather and or we have to shoot inside in low lighting conditions

In the event of bad weather, We are happy to continue to shoot in the rain if you arebut normally we would search for a sheltered area or locate an area indoors or even wait for a break in the weather, But we would always have a plan “B”

What if something happened to you on my wedding day or you couldn’t make it?

In the very unlikely event I can not make it to your day, I will provide an alternative photographer of the same caliber.

What is an Engagement or E shoot ?

An E shoot is when we meet up on a pre designated date before your wedding where we take photographs of you and your partner, practicing what you like and don’t like, E shoots are an essential part of wedding photography.

When you say you cover the whole day, how long is that?

Its exactly what it says, I start when you do, from the bridal preparations (optional) up to 9 hours and usually till just after the first dance, depending on your chosen package.

How many pictures do I get?

There is no limit to the amount of pictures you will receive, but a typical wedding would be anything from 300 to 500+ photographs.

Can I put them on face book?

Yes of course in fact I encourage you to do so, I will even supply you with small resolution versions for that very purpose!

How long before I receive my photographs?

6 to 8 weeks possibly more depending on holiday or busy periods, but i will always strive to get them to you as fast as possible.

I am only having a small wedding, Do you offer a discount for fewer people?

I’m sorry no, I only offer full day packages from morning till evening.

Do you Photograph anywhere in the UK ?

Yes, I’m happy to travel anywhere in both the UK or the World.

My name is David, I am an award winning destination wedding photographer who loves the fun, atmosphere and the all round celebration of weddings, I offer a unique contemporary way of photographing a wedding, I often appeal to the non-traditionalist, stylish yet contemporary couple. Based in the North East ,England, I capture weddings all across the UK, and around Europe and the globe.

I’m incredibly passionate about what I do, I find inspiration in all places and love to use any available light to by advantage and use additional light for the more creative image. A little about wedding photography at the Nottingham

Nottingham ( NOT-ing-əm) is a city and unitary authority area in Nottinghamshire, England. Part of the East Midlands region, it is 128 miles (206 km) north of London and 45 miles (72 km) northeast of Birmingham.

Nottingham has links to the legend of Robin Hood and to the lace-making, bicycle (notably Raleigh bikes) and tobacco industries. It was granted its city charter in 1897, as part of Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations. Nottingham is a tourist destination; in 2018, the city received the second highest number of overnight visitors in the Midlands and the highest number in the East Midlands.

In 2020, Nottingham had an estimated population of 330,000. The wider conurbation, which includes many of the city’s suburbs, has a population of 768,638. Nottingham’s public transport system won awards prior to 2015, including the largest publicly owned bus network in England. The city is also served by Nottingham railway station and the modern Nottingham Express Transit tram system.

It is also a major sporting centre and, in October 2015, was named ‘Home of English Sport’. The National Ice Centre, Holme Pierrepont National Watersports Centre and Trent Bridge international cricket ground are all based in or around the city, which is also the home of two professional football teams; the former world’s oldest professional league club Notts County and Nottingham Forest, famously two-time winners of the UEFA European Cup under Brian Clough and Peter Taylor in 1979 and 1980. The city also has professional rugby, ice hockey and cricket teams, and the Aegon Nottingham Open, an international tennis tournament on the ATP and WTA tours. This accolade came just over a year after Nottingham was named as the UK’s first City of Football.

On 11 December 2015, Nottingham was named a “City of Literature” by UNESCO, joining Dublin, Edinburgh, Melbourne and Prague as one of only a handful in the world. The title reflects Nottingham’s literary heritage, with Lord Byron, D. H. Lawrence and Alan Sillitoe having links to the city, as well as a contemporary literary community, a publishing industry and a poetry scene.
