Why choose me for you photography?

My name is  David,  I am an award winning destination wedding photographer who loves the fun, atmosphere and the all round celebration of weddings, I offer a unique contemporary way of photographing a wedding, I often appeal to the non-traditionalist, stylish yet contemporary couple. Based in Newcastle upon Tyne ,England, I capture weddings all across the UK, and around Europe and the World .

I’m incredibly passionate about what I do, I find inspiration all around me and love to use any available light to by advantage and use additional light for the more creative image. I have had the pleasure of photographing in Lanzarote on a few occasions, the atmosphere of Lanzarote lends itself to creative wedding photography.

I take pleasure in playing an integral role in two people tying the knot but I’m a firm believer in the fact that a wedding is so much more than exchanging words and work to capture every emotion felt and each special moment, translating the true joy of the day through creative imagery.

Where ever you are in the world, I’d love to be part of it.. I look forward to hear from you.

A little about wedding photography at the Lanzarote

Lanzarote (, Spanish: [lanθaˈɾote], locally [lansaˈɾote]) is a Spanish island, the northernmost and easternmost of the autonomous Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean. It is located approximately 125 kilometres (78 miles) off the north coast of Africa and 1,000 kilometres (621 miles) from the Iberian Peninsula. Covering 845.94 square kilometres (326.62 square miles), Lanzarote is the fourth-largest of the islands in the archipelago. With 152,289 inhabitants at the start of 2019, it is the third most populous Canary Island, after Tenerife and Gran Canaria. Located in the centre-west of the island is Timanfaya National Park, one of its main attractions. The island was declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO in 1993. The island’s capital is Arrecife.

The first recorded name for the island, given by Italian-Majorcan cartographer Angelino Dulcert, was Insula de Lanzarotus Marocelus, after the Genoese navigator Lancelotto Malocello, from which the modern name is derived. The island’s name in the native Guanche language was Tyterogaka or Tytheroygaka, which may mean “one that is all ochre” (referring to the island’s predominant colour).
