Serene & Paul both live and work down in London but have opted to marry back up in Paul’s native North East at the lovely Eshott Hall in later June. We met up on the sunny South Shields sea front and walked around the park, chatting about their wedding plans and ticking off a few of the finer details they had left before the big day, We used a bit of that time to grab some pre wedding photos, one of which will be used a signature mount. just in case you dont know, it’s a picture that has a rather large border for friends and family to write a personal message on the wedding day.
Early Sunday morning took me to Newcastle Quayside walking through the leftover stag and Hen Doo’ers as they drifted zombie like in search for coffees, Greg’s pasties and a few hairs from the proverbial dog.. finally I reached my destination but only after wading through the sea of semi naked leftover people, I met Jema in her room, She opted for the the malmaison in Newcastle to don the dress.. and the preparations for her Big Day!
You might remember Jema and james, I photographed their Pre wedding shoot a few months back on a rainy day in March, You can see the pictures here ( Jema & James Pre wedding shoot)
A few laughs, tears and deep breaths later, Jema was all ready to leave for Langley Castle, that was my cue to hot foot it out of there and get to the reception in time for her arrival..
As you will see by the pictures , the day was glorious, the people happy and the couple .. well emotional !! this is a wedding I will remember for a long time for all the right reasons!, here’s a few from the day!
Another fabulous day in the North East, This time over to the South Causey in to photograph the wedding of Claire & Kieron, I was greeted by a few chickens and horse on my arival, as its actualy a working stables, witrha few geese, ducks and a Turkey that keeps photo bombing! Hands up if you think Kieron looks a little like Alan Shearer, ( He wont thank me for saying that being a staunch Sunderland Fan! ( Sorry Kieron)
Here’s a few wedding photographs from the day!
I met Wendy and Phil, for the first time well over one year before their wedding, they had to plan way in advance of the day … you have to secure the venue and photographers that you want
Phil made a grand entrance to the venue by helicopter, rather a nice gift from the best man and something they both got to enjoy after the ceremony as they flew around the grounds.. lucky people.
Beamish Hall has been and always will be one of my favourite venues for wedding photography, and this day was no exception, here’s a few from Wendy and Phil’s wedding
Andy & Carly both live in London but are originally from the North east. They chose the wonderful quirky boutique style venue for there wedding at “Newton Hall” in Northumberland. The day was filled with emotion, a mixture of celebrating there new life together, whilst also pulling together as a family to support each other after Carly had recently lost her father. His favourite Newcastle United scarf was present throughout the day along with many photographs and a beautiful poem by Carly in memory of her Dad.
Alongside the boutique style surroundings, they chose a shabby chic style decor with a mix of wooden crates, wild flowers and vintage style table settings which complimented the day perfectly. Carly looked stunning in her elegant strapless ivory dress from Rosetta Nicolini-Shanessa whilst Andrew donned a very suave style black dinner suit, looking like he had just stepped out of a James bond movie
Carly & Andrew you make a wonderful couple and I truly wish you both a fantastic future…thank you for choosing me to be part of such a special day x
