James Riley and I have been friends for a number of years being both skiing and social friends , I was both thrilled and somewhat apprehensive when he asked me to be his photographer on his wedding to Cheryl at St Hild and St Bedes in Durham. Now every wedding is extremely important and as such I approach every wedding with a sense of care and trepidation but nothing compares to the added pressure of shooting a wedding of a good and trusted friend.. Not wishing to disappoint, I agreed to be part of the celebrations from both the inside and the out.
I would always say James was a lucky guy, but the unbelievable weather Jame’s and Cheryl had on their day was little more than miraculous , it was a March day that was topping 20 degrees loosening the top buttons and burning a few shoulders…. needless to say a great day was had by all.
